300g/m² PET filament nonwoven geotextile is a geosynthetic material manufactured from polyester (PET) fibers through continuous filament web formation and needle-punching processes. It offers a combination of tensile performance, puncture resistance, filtration capacity and water permeability. In gold mining projects, it is commonly used together with HDPE geomembranes to provide separation, protection, filtration and drainage functions.
For gold mine heap leach pads, tailings storage facilities, pregnant solution ponds and mine drainage systems, 300g/m² PET nonwoven geotextile can serve as a protective or filtration layer within a geosynthetic system. It reduces mechanical damage to HDPE geomembranes caused by sharp rocks, crushed ore and uneven subgrades while allowing water to pass through and limiting soil particle migration.
